Hong Kong WeatherWhat is the most installed iPhone app in Hong Kong?

Dare you say yours?

I would honestly suggest you to talk to our September guest speaker first before you make the bold statement.

(We will try to find it out that evening from Jeffery) If you wanna hear the story behind developing and maintaining one of the most popular apps in Hong Kong, come to the meetup on 9 Sept!  We will have an interview with Jeffery.

Jeffery currently runs his company – Conceptable. His company distributes other titles in the App Store as well. You can find them all out here.

What’s on your dock? Speaker lineup

Normally, our events feature only one single speaker on a dedicated topic. This is our first event with a speaker lineup! It’s an accomplishment!

The speakers, each, will spend about 5 min to pitch their favorite Mac apps to us. 5 min is short but it’s long enough to show key features which make people stick. Come talk to Mac app lovers, get inspiration and feedback!

The meetup is on 25 March (Thur). Please check the event post for details and RSVP.

Leon Ho, an iPhone developer, has been coding on his Mac since his founded Stepcase. He likes staring at his Macbook Pro’s LCD screen everyday. He will show us a screen capturing application.

William Taysom Chief Philosopher at JadeTower.  Finds the Mac frequently frustrating, but it’s the best we’ve got.  He likes listening to Alex read articles while he lifts weights.*  He will show us a window managing application.

Belle Liu, Development Abstraction Layer of BeansBox, a digital agency in HK – an unintended Apple “evangelist” since her switch from Windows in 2002. She loves helping PC users switch to Mac and trying out any app with a sexy interface. She will show us a password manager application.

Casey Lau – Creator of Super Kaiju Hero Force for the iPhone, Associate Publisher of the Popcorn Media Network and organizer of iPhanatics and iPadawans in HK. He likes everything from Steve Jobs, even Newton. He will show us design and utility applications in 5 minutes.

Spike is a corporate IT director, photographer and writer. You may be familiar with his column in BC magazine or his blog Hongkie Town. One of Spike’s favorite applications on his MacBook is a productivity app. He will show us in meetup.

Thank you very much to all the speakers.
